The lines are covered by transparent protective layer. In addition to providing a more responsive and firm brake pedal by eliminating the “spongy”feel that often accompanies stock rubber brake lines, High Performance Brake lines are abrasion and corrosion resistant to stay good looking for a long time to come.High Performance Brake line Kits are direct bolt-on replacements for all of the rubber brake lines in the vehicle’s brake system. (Four to six brake lines are included in each kit depending on the vehicle’s original design). To ensure proper fit and easy installation, hose ends and brake line brackets that match the vehicle’s original equipment style are used for each application.High Performance Brake lines go through a 9-point Quality Assurance testing process that includes measuring tensile strength and the ability to contain line pressure to 3,000 pounds per square inch. Increasing your braking power and feel is as easy as upgrading to our stainless steel brake lines. These lines will greatly improve your braking effectiveness because there is almost no expansion under pressure, requiring less force to operate at their maximum. The brake lever feel stays firm (less squishy than rubber hoses) at all times, allowing the rider to use only 2 fingers at the lever while getting extremely efficient brake power. This advantage reduces braking distances and increases efficiency of the calipers.

Our brake lines consist of three layers. The inner layer is a PTFE type 62 Teflon. The second layer consists of 16 strands of braided stainless steel. The outer layer is a plastic coating that protects the bike from scratches and keeps unwanted moisture out of the line. You can choose from red, blue, yellow, orange, clear, green, smoke, and black, white (new). The kits come standard with polished silver on brass fittings with matching bolts.
